Halloween Mash Party October 28, 2023Lodge Meeting December 13, 2023

The Moscow Elks Lodge meets at 6:30pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. The Board of Directors Committee meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Please see the latest calendar for our current restaurant and bar hours!

Established in 1892, Moscow Elks Lodge #249 is the oldest Elks Lodge in Idaho!

The Lodge

The Moscow Elks Lodge #249 serves more than 10 local communities on the Palouse. Our membership is far and wide and we support each and every one of them.

Social, Community and Fraternal Activities We’re Involved In

Social Activities include dances, picnics, hayrides, dinners, and a multitude of similar events that bring the Lodge Members, their families and friends together in a spirit of sociability. Community Activities is an area to which most Lodges should give more attention. This area encompasses community service, which is essential to improvement of the public image of the Lodge. Public programs, dedications, sponsorship of community celebrations, and youth humanitarian programs within the Lodge jurisdiction are all included in this area of activity. Fraternal Activities supplement the Lodge meeting. This is probably the most difficult type of Lodge activity to plan but is probably one of the most important. Suggested activities would include visits to the Lodge meetings by such groups as veterans, boy/girl scouts, students, or FFA groups, etc.

Who are the Elks? Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building, golf course or pool. They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.

Charitable Work

Our Mission: Helping Elks Build Stronger Communities. The mission of the Elks National Foundation is to help Elks build stronger communities. We fulfill this pledge by investing in communities where Elks live and work. We help youth develop lifelong skills, send students to college, meet the needs of today's veterans, support the charitable work of the state Elks associations, and fund projects that improve the quality of life in local Elks communities. Like all Elks, the Foundation values the belief that charity is the greatest of all virtues and that by sharing and giving, we have the power to replace sorrow and despair with hope and confidence. Donations to the Foundation help us fund programs that match our cornerstone values of knowledge, integrity and community.
