  • First graduate of the University of Idaho College of Agriculture — 1901
  • Quarterback for University of Idaho football team
  • Helped his father plant and nurture many of the trees still standing in East City Park
  • Founded the Idaho National Harvester Company
  • Pioneered the planting of seed peas in Latah County
  • Idaho State Lieutenant Governor 1931-1933 & 1935-1937
  • Lost United States Senate race in 1932
  • First Master of the Moscow Grange
  • Lifetime member of BPOE #249 — on Moscow Elks “wall of rembrance”
