From the Desk of the Secretary

Wow! So much to write about and so little space to do it! New officers, new Head Grounds Superintendent, Corona virus —good grief, where to start.

OK, by the time you read this, we will have new officers for the Lodge year 2020-2021 and you can see who they are from the list. Our new grounds superintendent has submitted a great bio, so I don’t have to say much other than I am very excited to have him and his great family join our family of Elks.

The Corona Virus is raising a lot of problems, not the least for us is how we will handle our bar/dining and golf course facility. I guarantee we WILL figure it out and the course is open to play as weather permits.  As of right now, the bar/dining is closed but I am still in the office M-F from 10-12. Whether the state feels we are an essential business or not, I feel it is essential to pay the bills and keep up with lodge business.

Please, get your dues, golf pass and cart shed rental in ASAP.

Hang in there, this too shall pass!

Wayne Krauss,

Secretary, PER
