April 1949 — Inland Empire Trap Shoot Contest

A popular place during the early spring weeks of 1949, despite sometimes cold, windy and wet weather, was the trapshoot range at the Elks Country Club.

A team of shooters representing Moscow Lodge #249, competed with shooters from other spots in Latah County and throughout the Inland Empire in the anual Inland Empire Trapshoot Contest.  Enviable sscores were posted by Moscow shooters when weather was such that targets could be sighted without too much hazard from the winds.
