Legacy Grants

The Moscow Elks Lodge was recently the recipient of two winners of the Elks National Foundation’s Legacy Scholarship Award in the amount of $4000.  A total of 350 awards were issued this year throughout the United States and the Moscow Lodge was the recipient of two of them.

Jaye Collier is the granddaughter of Elks member Gary Kendall of Potlatch, Idaho.  Jaye lives in Newburgh, Indiana with her parents Keith and Leanne and will be graduating with Honors from Castle High School and attending Oklahoma State University.

Kirstin Wambeke, daughter of Connie and Travis Wambeke is graduating from Logos High School and plans on attending Grand Canyon University.  Growing up in Moscow, Kirstin has attended various Elk’s functions over the years and appreciates the education opportunities the Elks provide with the Legacy Scholarship.

Moscow Elks Lodge #249 has seen $32,000 awarded in Elks Scholarships to students representing our lodge in the last 8 years through Legacy Grants and the Mosst Valuable Student Scholarship Program.
