Elks BULLetin

Calling All Trucks!  Elizabeth, our energizer bunny, is cleaning out the basement for us.  She has separated a bunch of items the lodge no longer uses to go to either the dump or the Hope Center.  She is asking us for help transporting the materials on Monday June 18th at 10:00am.  Depending on the number of volunteers the task should take just one trip per truck .  Elizabeth will be happy to make you lunch to say thanks. Please, let the lodge know if you can help.

Good news, the golf course is looking better.  The low spots in the fairways are drying out and being mowed, the greens are getting quicker, and the rough is being shortened.  All this work should help us find our golf balls when they stray from the fairway. We have a retired gentleman that is trimming trees in exchange for a RV space.  We had a member out trimming the base of the trees on #2 this week. The greens crew has replaced the sand bunkers on #3 and #6 and made them into grass bunkers. This should make play a bit easier.  The golf course should be in great shape very soon.

Enough Elk droppings for today,
